Frequently asked questions

Is my mail encrypted?

Every connection to Reeva is encrypted with TLS. The password vault is encrypted on your device, and account passwords are hashed with argon2id. Mail is not end-to-end encrypted; for that, use PGP or S/MIME on top of Reeva.

Does Reeva support standard mail protocols?

Yes. Reeva speaks JMAP, IMAP and SMTP, so you can use it from the web, our apps, or any standards-compliant client like Thunderbird and Apple Mail.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Add your domain in the control panel, publish the DNS records we generate (including DKIM), and send and receive on your own address.

Can I export my data?

Your data is yours. Standard protocols mean you can sync or migrate mail and files with ordinary clients at any time.

Do you track me or sell my data?

No. Reeva has no ad business. We do not track your activity or sell your data.
